LUCK OF THE DRAW WOMEN’S RUGBY TOURNAMENT

Co-Hosted by the Milwaukee Scylla, UW-Madison and Wisconsin Women’s Rugby Clubs to celebrate all levels of women’s rugby in Wisconsin!

We welcome all senior, collegiate, high school (17+) and alumni women’s rugby players with ties to Wisconsin to join the fun and TRY their luck!

DATE & TIME
Saturday, April 26, 2008 - 8:00 a.m. – 6 p.m. Tournament
Team Assignments for Players at 8:30 a.m. Sharp!

LOCATION
Yahara Rugby Field - Madison, Wis.
Yahara Rugby Field, aka “The Dump”, is located just one mile east of the Interstate 90 and Hwy. 12/18 Interchange on Madison’s southeast side. From the Interstate, follow Hwy. 12/18 East to Cambridge just one mile, turn left on Cty. Hwy. AB and Yahara Rugby Field will be 1/3 mile ahead on your left. There is free parking in our field’s lot. No parking on the grass. Please leash all pets.

FORMAT
• 10s Rugby (10-players per side, 10-minute halves)
• All Registered players will be randomly assigned a colored t-shirt that denotes their tournament team. Teams are randomly built of 10 individuals, not by pre-existing teams, position or age.
• All players must be 17 years of age or older (High School players welcome if 17 and older). Players that are 17 years of age must include a parent/guardian signature and parent/guardian phone number on their tournament registration form to be submitted with tournament registration fee.

PLAYER REGISTRATION FEE
• Individual Player before April 14 - $20 (includes games and t-shirt)
• Individual Player after April 14 - $30 - No Guarantees as spots will fill quickly!
• If there are 15 or more players from the same Home Club, you will save with a discounted registration of $18 before April 14! Please send all registration forms and checks together.

ENJOY THE DAY
Although you’ll be on random teams for games, players from the same Home Clubs are encouraged to camp/picnic for the day at Yahara Rugby Field. Grilling is allowed in our parking lot. Feel free to set up team tents, chairs, tables, sell home club fundraising merchandise, picnic and promote your home club.
